On 11th July 2014, we the staff and scholars from department of Swasthavritta, Post-graduate studies & Research centre, Koppal, celebrated World Population Day in Patanjali Hall of college premises.

Our programme started with an inauguration of Notice boards which were separately dedicated for Post-graduation, Under graduation and House surgeons from our beloved Principal sir and Director sir at about 12.00pm.

On the same day we have conducted poster presentation competition for all the students separately on topic “World population and its effects on life style” along with the same we displayed flexes stating importance of population day, its effects of population of different fields, measures that are to be adopted to control the same and few measures that has been already adopted by state government.

All the student and college staff actively took part in the same, later came the central attraction of the day “CHINCHA PANAKA” which has been prepared for refreshment with the help of Rasa shastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana department was liked by everyone.

Later in the day Swamiji blessed us with his presence, liked the programme and gave a word of appreciation. He also identified the creativity of the students, work of scholars and encouraged us to conduct such kind of programmes in future frequently.
